The first tournament of the V4 league series took place on the last weekend of March. Our team brought unbelievable 21 players to Hungary as appropriate for a tournament of European calibre. Among teams from Poland, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia we finally placed fourth.
After winning all of our pool games on Saturday, a windy Sunday morning semifinal lied ahead of us. Unfortunately, the opponent got lucky with the flip and later neither team managed to score against the win. We lost the game by one point. The personal mistakes which our players hadn’t made throughout the previous games seemed to all come out in the third place game against Terrible Monkeys.
The fourth place, however, got nicely balanced out by the Spirit of the Game prize!
